Working with the Adaptive and Disabled community is of great importance to AquaPaddle. As a Charity, we aim to work with and provide equipment for paddlers who need some adaptation to their craft to be able to take part.
If an Adaptive AquaPaddler is going to attend an event for the first time, it is requested they contact the local AquaPaddle Captain, via the local AquaPaddle webpage to let them know they are going to take part. This is not essential, but it is just a courtesy, as there might be some local guidance pertinent to the location, that has not been published on the Webpage.
Once an Adaptive Paddler arrives at an AquaPaddle they are requested to make themselves known to the Volunteer team if they require assistance in anyway. This can include launching and landing.
