Friends of AquaPaddle

Friends of AquaPaddle is where of regular paddlers, who benefit from the AquaPaddle 5km events, want to help the charity on an ongoing basis. And you will get exclusive benefit too!

Are you one of these paddlers, if so, then please consider signing up and subscribing to become a Friend of AquaPaddle.  

The annual subscription is £39.00 and will remain at that cost for as long as you subscribe, regardless of any future cost increase.

What are the Benefits 

The benefits package for Friends of AquaPaddle will grow steadily. To start with it will be: 

• The great feeling of helping others less fortunate and helping the Charity grow, to enable many more to benefit from AquaPaddle 5km and BlueSpace.
• Introductory discount on a Custom AP Numbers – During Introductory period only, see below.
• Ability to purchase exclusive Friends of AquaPaddle Kit.
• Ability to purchase exclusive Yellow/Gold AquaPaddle Bib with Friend of AquaPaddle on the Front and Back. 
• A digital badge next to your name across the AquaPaddle site
• The ability to sort and filter all results.
• Further benefits will be added over time, such as comparing your results with another AquaPaddler.

Where the money goes 

The subscriptions go towards helping running BlueSpace Sessions in areas that are underfunded, filling the funding gaps between existing funds and needs. Additionally, it goes towards helping run the Charity. Although much of the work is done by volunteers, there are still costs and expenses that need to be covered. for instance this WebApp’s hosting needs to be paid for. As we grow, so does the administration requirements and this takes people’s time and sometimes that needs to be paid for. Friends of AquaPaddle help fill these gaps.
