We are very excited about this Sunday, 31 July 22 as we will have two locations for you to visit and AquaPaddle. The original Hampton – Molesey and the all NEW AquaPaddle – Swansea
The first AquaPaddle in Wales is now full. However, if you are booked onto the event and can no longer take part, please remember to cancel your place to let others take your place. This can be done by logging into the website and going to My Registrations.
The location is on the River Tawe on the eastern edge of Swansea. It’s a great location and the AquaPaddle Captain is our Patron, Emily King, the former National Champion. She has put together a great Crew of local volunteer marshals, who will be keeping you all safe and encouraging you to paddle well.
Whether you are entered for Swanseaor Hampton-Molesey this Sunday, you must bring your AquaPaddle Number with you and make sure you sign in with the Time Lord.
Your AquaPaddle Number is your own unique number to use at all AquaPaddles you attend. You can find out what yours is by simply logging in and going to My Profile. You can find out more about what to bring to an AquaPaddle in the blog post on the website.
The first AquaPaddle – Southend happened last Sunday, 24 July 22. Seventeen AquaPaddlers ventured out on the the choppy waters of the River Thames. They pushed themselves and had a great time. There was a brilliant spirit amongst the Crew, with all the AquaPaddlers being cheered back to the beach after completing the 2 lap route.
It was great to see a number of clubs and groups coming together and join in. The Crew came from Blue Therapy Active and were wonderfully lead by Sarah-Jane and Del. Some of the AquaPaddlers were saying afterwards that they would be willing to help out and volunteer at the next AquaPaddle.
AquaPaddle is all about the local Paddling Community coming together and having fun and supporting each other to be the best that can. Regardless of club, group, age or craft you paddle.

We had our first BlueSpace session with Surrey Care Trust recently with young people who greatly benefitted from the personal development, wellbeing and confidence building effects of paddle boarding.
This is the main work of AquaPaddle and we can help more people across the country from all communities, with more donations. In this cost of living crisis, it is now, more that ever, important to share the benefits of being out on the water, in a safe environment, with those who can least afford it, but have the greatest need. Please donate what you can to help. See below for details.
Please help AquaPaddle and AquaPaddle – BlueSpace with a donation. Also, if you are enjoying AquaPaddle, please help support the charity and all that we do.
