Alderford Lake in December

Despite the mixed weather, we’ve been lucky to continue our weekly paddle at Alderford Lake throughout December, with minimal impact from the high winds due to our sheltered location.
Once again, there were some great costumes on display for our Christmas-themed paddle.
The temporary addition of a fountain to the lake, part of the Christmas lights trail, has been a nice photo opportunity – as well as a chance to cool off after the paddle!
We finished the year with a lovely sunny morning, and a new fastest time at Alderford Lake of 27:23.
