Since we launched in early April we have run four successful AquaPaddles at Hampton – Molesey. These have been well attended and the weather has been kind to us. All be the most recent one, the Jubilee AquaPaddle, the weather was very Royal, cool and damp, but no rain 🙂
It is great to see AquaPaddlers improving their times and buying their own AquaPaddle Bibs which have their own unique AquaPaddle Number on. These can be purchased from our shop
We have also noticed people are having some fun with their Nicknames. If you haven’t added a Nickname yet, please go to your “My Profile” page and click on the “Add / Edit Nickname” button. It helps us identify you and is better than calling out your AquaPaddle Number when we need to ask you something 🙂
We are beginning to talk to six other locations about running AquaPaddles across the country, these are in West Wales (Swansea), Northern Island (Bangor), Buckinghamshire (Maidenhead), Essex (Southend), Hampshire (Lymington) and Surrey (Godalming). It is hoped that they will all come on stream over the next couple of months. This is a process that cannot be rushed as safety is paramount in all that we do. We will let you know when the next location opens so that you can go and check it out.
