We have exciting news about a new location to AquaPaddle and a reminder about what to bring to an AquaPaddle.
It’s with great pleasure that we announce the addition of Plymouth to the location map. Paul Hooper will be the Aqua Paddle Captain for the first AquaPaddle Plymouth later in September. The plan at the moment is for it to start at Yacht Haven Quay and paddle up The River Plym and back. Details still need to be confirmed. It’s a great location with plenty to see along the route.
We also have plans to take AquaPaddle further west into Cornwall. News on locations and dates will be released once we have them.
If you have friends or relations in the Plymouth area, please let them know to look out for the details very soon about the first AquaPaddle in the West of England!
Please remember to either order your AquaPaddle Number Bib that has your unique “forever” AquaPaddle Number on. Or you can make your own waterproof number by downloading the PDF file from “My Profile” page and printing it off and placing it in a plastic sleeve. More information on how to do this is available on the “Get Started” page.
Better still order a bib and bring it along to all the AquaPaddles you visit around the country.
One quick reminder is to not create your own number. Only the Number on the My Profile page can be used. We will be bringing a feature next year where you can buy your own AquaPaddle Number and be a regular supporter of AquaPaddle.
We have 2 AquaPaddles on this Bank Holiday Weekend. A rare Saturday AquaPaddle at Southend and Sunday at Hampton – Molesey. The weather is looking great so why not get your friends to come and join you for a 5k paddle. You know they will enjoy themselves 😁🤙
As a Charity we rely on your donations. Thank you for all who have already donated, it is greatly appreciated 🥰 The donations go towards running free sessions for people who can really benefit from being out on the water for the many mental and physical health reasons being on the water brings. To read a recent case study about one of our sessions click here to visit our AquaPaddle – BlueSpace page.
The donations also help with making AquaPaddle Safe with helping to provide equipment, such as radios and defibs for each location as funds allow. They also help improve the website, by bringing new features to the AquaPaddling community.
Please donate what you can.
